Definition:
Chivalry is a code of right action used by knights, which is why the word is derived from a word for knight. It was extended to be a code of action for all members of the nobility and gentle classes. The code of Chivalry required bravery, reverence, mercy, charity, protection for people who were weak or in need, faithful obedience, and truthfulness.
